Selling

Why a buyer credit can beat a price cut.

Buyers shop by monthly payment. When rates are high, the payment is what stops them.

A price cut lowers the price. A buyer credit is a seller-paid credit the buyer can put toward a lower mortgage rate, so it goes after the payment instead.

Whether a credit fits your home depends on your market, your price and the buyer's loan. Ryan talks it through with you in person, and the buyer's lender confirms the numbers.

Ask whether a buyer credit fits your home

Buyer credits are subject to the buyer's loan program and lender approval. Seller concession limits vary by loan type. Ryan coordinates with the buyer's lender; he does not make loans. This page is general information, not legal, tax or lending advice.
